Sorry for disappearing the last couple of weeks. I had my first wholesale order and it has kind of buried me. Wholesaling seems like such a great idea but I never realized the amount of time it would take to supply such a large order in such a short amount of time. Especially over the summer with all the kiddos at home. I realize that balancing your day is the key to success in any endeavor, but these last few weeks I have totally thrown that idea out the window. Usually I set aside a few hours a day dedicated to my work so the rest of the day I can spend playing, but these days I find myself multitasking. Inviting friends over to visit, sitting by the pool, even watching a movie with my hubby is all spent crocheting in order to finish this order. Don't get me wrong I am grateful for this opportunity, but at least I have learned what I am really capable of and what my terms will be for the next one.
On a lighter note I have come up with some really cute ideas for some Holiday flowers and I can't wait to get them made and posted. So stay tuned for those :)

So it's almost here only hours away until my feature at My Giveaway Today. It's been 6 weeks in the making and I am so anxious to see how it will turn out. I never realized how long it would take to actually be featured, which is a good thing, I guess. Hopefully it means they have a large following and therefore I will, too. I was recently told by a friend of mine that her girls had out grown my products. I was a little flabbergasted since I wear my products pretty much every day. Does that make me immature?
So it got me thinking...do people realize that anyone can where the flower clips? If you look at my photos you would never know, seeing as most of the shots are of children. So I asked a couple of my YW to come over for a little photo shoot to showcase the flower clips in a new light. Of course I could of just turned the camera around and took some photos of me, but that didn't sound like a lot of fun. So hijacked them after church and we had a lot of fun together. I seriously am amazed with the shots I was able to get, seeing as I was laughing so hard the camera was totally shaking.
And to my friend, I hope these photos prove that you are never to old to wear a pretty little flower in your hair, lol! Enjoy the pictures...

I am always on the lookout for fun and easy craft ideas for the Holidays (anytime actually). I came across this website that had some of the cutest ideas for the 4th and pretty much every major holiday. It's called Holidash and I am in love!
Wouldn't this flower bouquet look fabulous on any table! I hope you find as much joy out of it as I do!
