Popsicles and Playtime Part 1

Holly Pitcher1 Comment
There's nothing like a warm day that screams...Popsicles!!!

Noah couldn't get enough of his Popsicle's. He was loving the fact that his Aunt gave him two instead of the one his mean mom only lets him have. It was really super cute to watch him try and decide which one to eat first.

I just love when the day dawns and you can just feel that something fun is on the horizon. This day proved to be just that. With Jill here we spent almost every day outside and the kids loved it. And us parents too, because it means less mess in the house plus they get so tired they go to bed easier ;)

Don't know what Ashton was looking at, but he was so enthralled by it!!

And this one definitely needs to take some kind of gymnastics. He spent more time on his hands than his feet this trip!!

Stats for the week...down another pound. Sweet!!! However, it is bittersweet! I have been sidelined...benched! Sunday afternoon I started to have a pain in my side. I could barely bend over and certain things were even harder to do like running. At first I though it was serious, but found out its just a little pulled muscle. How I pulled it I will never know. So basically I have been lying down with a heating pad waiting for my body to get over it's problem. So frustrating!!!

On a lighter and much happier note....

SPRING!!!!!!!!!

Scalloped Ava Beanie

Introducing my newest style of Beanie...the Scalloped Ava Beanie. I am so excited about this one!!! It has a very feminine edge that is sure to compliment any outfit...a great buy for spring. I can make it from Newborn to Adult and you can choose between 40 colors...give or take!

On a another note this was the first shoot that I was able to use the Manual mode on my camera. I have taken class after class and after a year it finally just clicked. I am so very happy that I have finally figured it out. It makes editing so much easier and will definitely cut down my computer time ;)

Maddie was so much fun to shoot and she really got into the whole thing! She absolutely loved this dress (from Target) and I must agree...it is so cute!!

I can't believe it...down 2.1 lbs for the week. I was super nervous with Jill being in town and me kinda in vacation mode, but I came out on top!! I can only equate it to the fact that I upped my running. I'm now at 3 miles/2 miles. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be and my body is feeling fantastic after the runs!

So all in all I'm down 6.2 lbs which leaves me 8.8 to go! Almost half way, yay!!!

Happy St. Patty's Day

I had no idea that St. Patty's day was such a big deal!! I got on Facebook this morning and came to the conclusion that I was seriously lacking in my creative mommy skills. In order for the day to not be a total wash I whipped these up for an after dinner snack :)

Of course I had to raid my mom's cookie cutter supply. She has had this shamrock cutter since before I can remember and boy was I thankful she still had it!! The kiddos really want to frost them so I will include that as part of this evenings activities. Jill and the kids are headed home tomorrow so we are having a sleepover of all sleepovers to celebrate!! My only concern...how much sleep I will be getting tonight ;)

Spring Break 2011

We are in the height of Spring Break and it has been a fantastic week! Jill and the kiddos had the same week off as us so she hightailed it up here to hang out and enjoy the weather! There is nothing like having all the sisters together! Sunday dawned and it was beautiful!!! After church we all headed to the park to let the kids burn off some energy. I tell you I just never get to the park these days. Since my friend moved away and we bought our house, it just hasn't been the same. It was nice to go!!! We brought some baseball supplies and some played while some sat and watched. I was lazy and just took pictures ;) which ya know includes a lot of sitting, lol.

While Sallie helped all our kiddos, we got to enjoy snuggling Toa. He is just a chunky bundle of joy!! He's 1 month old and bulking up fast ;)

Isabel and Maddie sat and through the ball back and forth for what seemed like forever! They were in there own little world and were so cute to watch. Maddie is good with her cousins and makes sure to spend time with each one, though due to her love of all things DS, Ethan gets a fair chunk of it ;)

The boys did a lot of this...

They were walking all over the park just visiting! It was so adorable...of course they thought they were being too cool to hang out with the little ones, but all the same it was cute!

And no picture taking day is complete without one of Matai. Just love all those curls!!!
